SIA Security Training
If you want more information about our SIA Security Training;
Tristar Security offers SIA license Training for any individual wishing to gain their SIA license. The full course and subsequent examination is carried out at the Tristar Security Training Centre in Leyton, by our in house SIA trainer. The course is open to all, irrespective of whether or not they are employed by Tristar Security Ltd.
Since March 2006 legislation requires individuals working in the sector to be licensed by the SIA (Security Industry Authority), who have specified the criteria for obtaining this license.
The Door Supervision qualification is composed of two mandatory units:
- The Role and Responsibilities of Security Officers
- Communication and Conflict Management
The course takes approximately 30 hours to complete and is assessed by two, one hour set, written exam papers consisting of multi-choice questions.
The CCTV qualification is composed of two mandatory units:
- Working in the private security industry
- Working as a CCTV operator
You will also be required to complete a portfolio to demonstrate professional competence on our in house CCTV system.
This course is usually run over 26 hours
